BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rates & Payment

All rates are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Minimum Stay

There is no minimum stay.

Family Policy

The camp is not suitable for children under the age of 4 years as there is no staff or facilities to support them.

Conservation Levy

Please note that there is a levy of $5 per person per night (included in the rate) which is donated to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.

Seasons

Blue Mountains Private Safaris operates all year round.

Inclusions

  • All meals, tea and coffee, wine, beer and soft drinks
  • Deluxe swag accommodation, under the stars with eco-friendly en suite bathroom
  • Activities – bushwalking, wildlife viewing, canoeing and ‘donutting’ on the river, fishing and 4 wheel drives to points of interest and scenic look outs

Blue Mountains Private Safaris management reserve the write to change inclusions to some services where costs change markedly (e.g. fuel costs) and you will be notified of this in writing.

Check-in and Check-out

These timings are flexible

  • Heli-safaris pick up (from the central Sydney hotel) is at 09:30 and return to Sydney at 18:00
  • Transfers from Sydney will normally pick up from your hotel at 09:00 and return you to your hotel at 17:00
  • Self-drive: meet at Joadja Vineyard, Berrima at 11:00 on day 1 and return there late afternoon on day 2

Deposits and Payments

A deposit of 20% is required within 48 hours of making a reservation. Full payment must be made 30 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 30 days, payment must be made within 48 hours of booking.

Cancellation Policy

As a small property, our business depends on maximising occupancy and cancellations often result in empty rooms. Cancellation of your reservation must be notified to us in writing, and will take effect on the day we receive it.

  • For cancellations outside of 45 days the deposit will be refunded in full less the cost of any credit card commissions and a $50 per booking administration fee
  • For cancellations within 45 days of arrival the deposit will be forfeited.
  • For cancellations within 30 days of arrival all monies will be forfeited.

In case of unscheduled camp closure (such as, but not limited to, the case of fire or flood) full monies will be refunded.

MasterCard, Visa and American Express card are accepted. An administration fee of 2.5% will be levied on American Express payments.

Travel Insurance

We STRONGLY recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance including a cancellation policy and emergency medical care. Travel insurance can be purchased from travel agents, medical health funds, general insurance companies etc.  We can direct you to a link to QBE insurance if you wish to consider their options.

Helicopter flights and weight restrictions

Individual and luggage weights will be required for helicopter safaris.
